Primary sources for product details
Care labels, manufacturer manuals, published dimensions, material disclosures, warranty terms and return policies are the preferred sources for a specific product. Retail listings are treated cautiously because titles and size names can be simplified.
Household observations
Many guides use direct low-risk observations: visible condensation, curtain gaps, mattress depth, bedding layers, blocked vents, room access and fabric care. These are not medical tests.
Measurements
Conversions use standard relationships: 1 inch equals 2.54 centimetres; Celsius and Fahrenheit are converted mathematically. Mattress and bedding size labels are not treated as universal standards.
External expertise
Building moisture, electrical safety, persistent mould, combustion concerns and structural problems can require qualified local professionals. Medical symptoms require qualified healthcare advice.
Commercial sources
Marketing claims may identify a feature worth checking, but they do not become an editorial conclusion without clear construction, measurement or care information.
